Year 6 SATs revision, without the overwhelm

Six minutes a day is enough.

SATs in 6 is a calm, structured 12-week programme in Maths, English and Arithmetic — short daily practice a stressed evening actually has room for, written by a Year 6 intervention teacher with over a decade's experience as a Deputy Head and SATs Lead.

How it works

  1. 1

    Pick a subject

Maths, English, Arithmetic — or all three as the full bundle. Start wherever your child needs it most.

  2. 2

    Six minutes a day

One short paper, Monday to Friday. Space for workings, a tick-or-cross mark scheme, nothing that eats the evening.

  3. 3

    Reflect and track

Every week ends with a simple reflection: what clicked, what needs another look, and a place to see progress build.

Built for real evenings, not perfect ones

SATs in 6 started at our own kitchen table. Six minutes was the amount of time we could reliably get, on a school night, without a fight about it — so that became the whole design brief.

No hour-long revision sessions, no guilt when a week gets missed. Just short, consistent practice that adds up over a term.

Beyond the papers

SATs season is stressful. We don't ignore that.

Alongside the revision packs, we're building a library of short mindfulness exercises, calming music and videos for children who feel the pressure — because a calm child concentrates better than an anxious one.
